About Apex Gaming PCs Inc.
Apex Gaming PCs Inc. operates under the trade name Manik for various specialized components, power systems, and peripherals. Whether your hardware is branded as Apex or Manik, it falls under the corporate governance, warranty standards, and safety protocols of Apex Gaming PCs Inc.
⚠️ Universal Safety & Hardware Warning
The following guidelines apply to all Apex and Manik branded parts. Unauthorized disassembly or modification of these components poses significant risks to your physical safety and the integrity of your system.
1. Power Supply Units (PSU) – DANGER: HIGH VOLTAGE
-
Lethal Charge: PSUs contain high-voltage capacitors that store a lethal electrical charge.
-
Persistent Risk: These components can hold a dangerous charge even after being disconnected from wall power for an extended period.
-
Strict Prohibition: Customers must never open, disassemble, or attempt to repair a PSU.
-
Liability: Apex Gaming PCs Inc. (DBA Manik) will not be held liable for any shock, injury, or fatality resulting from PSU tampering.
2. All-In-One (AIO) Liquid Coolers – RISK: CORROSION & SHORT CIRCUIT
-
Factory Sealed: Apex/Manik AIOs are closed-loop systems. Do not attempt to refill, open the cold plate, or cut the tubing.
-
Conductivity Risk: Internal fluids are specially formulated; if the seal is broken, leaked fluid can cause catastrophic electrical shorts and permanent damage to other PC components.
-
Pressure Warning: AIO systems are pressurized; opening the unit can cause skin or eye irritation from high-pressure fluid release.
3. RGB Lighting & Controllers – RISK: FIRE & PIN DAMAGE
-
Voltage Sensitivity: RGB and ARGB components operate on specific 5V or 12V headers. Never force a connection into a non-matching header, as this creates an immediate fire hazard.
-
Static Hazard: Lighting strips and controllers are highly sensitive to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Do not touch exposed circuitry on controllers or LED strips while the system is powered.
-
Modding Prohibition: Do not splice, cut, or re-wire Apex/Manik RGB cables. Improper wiring can lead to localized melting and electrical fires.
Liability Release & Warranty Voidance
Apex Gaming PCs Inc. (DBA Manik) will not be held liable for any injury, fatality, property damage, or data loss resulting from the unauthorized opening, modification, or repair of any Apex or Manik branded component. Opening any factory-sealed component (PSUs, AIOs, or sealed Controllers) will:
-
Immediately void the manufacturer warranty for that part.
-
Potentially void the system-wide warranty if the tampering leads to secondary component failure.
-
Expose the user to unnecessary and preventable physical harm.
