Setting the Record Straight: Apex Gaming PCs Remains Independent

In February of 2024, a YouTube video speculated that Apex Gaming PCs had been purchased by a larger organization. This rumor gained traction because, shortly after, Apex relocated our production operations from Philadelphia, PA to Houston, TX. We want to be clear: Apex Gaming PCs Inc. has never been purchased, merged, or acquired at any point. We remain fully independent.

Why We Moved

The decision to relocate was made entirely for business reasons—to improve logistics, expand production capacity, and position Apex for long-term growth in a more central hub. It had nothing to do with an acquisition or outside ownership.

The Results of Relocation

Since making the move to Houston, our operational performance has improved dramatically:

  • Lead times reduced by over 70%, meaning customers get their PCs faster than ever.

  • RMA rates lowered by nearly 80%, a reflection of stronger quality control and production processes.

  • Significantly greater operational capability, giving us the ability to build more systems, more efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards.

Leadership Changes in 2024

It’s true that in June 2024, we made major management changes to strengthen our leadership team. These shifts were part of our evolution as a growing company, but they did not change who owns Apex.

Our Independence Matters

We take pride in the fact that Apex Gaming PCs has been built independently since day one. That independence allows us to remain agile, innovative, and laser-focused on what matters most—building reliable, high-performance gaming PCs for our customers.
