Apex Gaming PCs Inc. has issued an official safety recall for select Apex and Manik Power Supply Units (PSUs) due to missing permanent hazard warning labels.

Important: This is not a performance defect. Your power supply is mechanically sound and operating normally. The recall addresses missing high-voltage hazard labeling required for compliance.

Critical Safety Rule

Never attempt to open, disassemble, or service your power supply unit under any circumstances. Internal components retain active high-voltage electrical charges even when completely unplugged, posing a risk of severe shock or injury.

Two Free Remedy Options

Choose one of two free remedies provided by Apex:

Option 1: Apply the Official Safety Sticker (Fastest – No Downtime) Apex will ship a heat-resistant, permanent adhesive safety label directly to your home.

  1. Unplug: Disconnect your PC completely from the wall outlet.

  2. Power Down: Flip the PSU power switch to the "O" (Off) position.

  3. Open Case: Remove the PC side panel (do not disassemble the power supply box itself).

  4. Clean Surface: Wipe the existing PSU label with a clean, dry cloth (or a slightly damp cloth, letting it dry completely).

  5. Apply Label: Firmly press the new safety sticker over the original label for 30 seconds.

  6. Verify: Submit your confirmation on the online portal.

Option 2: Full Unit Replacement If you prefer not to apply the sticker yourself, Apex will coordinate a full PSU replacement with the label pre-applied (includes free round-trip shipping). (Note: Expect 7–10 business days of PC downtime during return shipping and installation).
