Apex Gaming PCs / Manik Recall Update

At Apex Gaming PCs, our community’s trust, satisfaction, and—most importantly—safety are our absolute top priorities. We want to share an important update regarding a voluntary safety recall we are conducting in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) concerning certain power supplies.

What You Need to Know About the Recall

This voluntary recall involves Manik- and Apex-branded ATX Computer Power Supplies (PSUs) of varying wattages (450W, 750W, 1000W, and 1200W) sold both individually and within our custom gaming computers between December 2021 and February 2026.

The Reason for the Recall: The affected power supply units lack a permanent, on-product warning label identifying potential electrical shock and electrocution hazards. This poses a risk of serious injury if the unit is opened or disassembled. No incidents or injuries have been reported, but to prevent any future risks, we are taking proactive steps to fix this immediately.

Please remember: Under no circumstances should you ever attempt to open, disassemble, or service your power supply unit.

Update: Safety Labels Have Been DISPATCHED!

The remedy for this issue is straightforward. We are providing all affected consumers with a permanent, UL-recognized, heat-resistant safety label containing the necessary warning information to apply to the exterior of the PSU.

We have already sent these warning labels via U.S. Mail to all affected customers.

What If You Haven’t Received Your Label Yet? If you bought an affected system or individual PSU during the December 2021 to February 2026 timeframe and have not received your label yet, please contact our Support Team right away so we can verify your address and expedite one out to you.

Additionally, if you are uncomfortable applying the safety label yourself, you can contact us to request a free replacement power supply unit.
