So far the PC has been great, I have had 0 issues with it and it's a beast.
My only complaints are these:
This thing took forever to arrive, and had so many delays (even after the hurricane delay I waited through with understanding).
And there weren't a whole lot of specific instructions for a new end user in mind. I.e more than just the manuals attached in the box, but for a new or newer enthusiast, a diagram of how to assemble or disassemble, or upgrade etc or something along those lines could be helpful. That is less of a complaint and more of a maybe look into this, only because I had to do a couple double takes just due to the case.
If there is one thing that would have made this already good PC better, it would have been getting it sooner than a month and a half. I see online it's a consistent complaint also.
Again, I don't have any ill will or malice behind this, as the PC is great and I am very satisfied. But if criticism is asked, I shall provide.

I would like to appreciate the extreme build gaming pc Apex has build for me. Thank you guys, this has more than met my expectations. Although it did take some time to complete. I’m sure it was only a delay to ensure it was done correctly the first time.
Daniel R.
It’s great. Only thing I wish it had was a switch for the lights so I could turn them off at night without having to turn off the power switch
Mark B.
PC came in a box that was well protected and all parts were intact and with no scratches or rub marks. Pc Performance is great and exactly what I wanted, a well built and good looking PC that can play triple A games at ultra performances.
Joshua S.
First off I'll start by saying this thing is a beast. Runs every game I throw at it at max settings effortlessly. Gpu temperature has never risen above 75° while playing even the most demanding games like cyberpunk with ray tracing on and all settings on max or high and that's thanks to the 6 fans that work really well at blowing the hot air out and sucking the cool air in. Also I'd like to thank Apex Gaming for getting my pc to me in just a month even though they were experiencing power outages and other delays due to Hurricane Beryl. All in all, great pc, great customer service, and great company.
Dillon M.
I love this thing it’s a great ps runs games like it’s a warmup.
Ernesto E.
All I can say is great service and product. It is my best PC so far
Ramon G.
I’m happy with my pc but I was very disappointed in the lack of communication with any updates or when my pc was delayed I hade to reach out to see what was going on but I’m happy after 4 months of waiting I have it
Mitja P.
There's been bit of complications with order but it was very transparent which i respect, when i got my pc i have noticed that the ram wasn't on his fullest power it was 5400mhz while the rams are actually 6400mhz which i noticed that motherboards doesn't really support software wise 4x ddr5 rams, i don't know if apex know that but at the time being having 2x ddr5 with 6400mhz rams would be a lot better then having 4x ddr5 with 6400mhz since there need to be detail tweaking in bios to be able to have 4x ddr5 with 6400mhz. the fps difference between 5400mhz and 6000mhz is already almost 20fps which is a lot in fps games and competitive games.
DAVID S.
Met all my expectations. Would buy from them again.
Brock H.
Runs smoothly without a worry of low frame rates or low ram usage

Spent $7700 on a unit which is great. But when you spend that much money on something you wanna be communicated with on a regular basis to ensure everything is running smoothly. After you buy it communication blows, it took a little over a month to get my unit. Customer service need a lot of work communicating through email may be somebody else’s way of communication but not mine. The unit operates good will think twice about this process in the future.
Emily R.
Pros: customer service has been absolutely wonderful each time I had to speak with them.
Cons: I feel like it was a bit disorganized. I paid extra for “rush build” which would make the PC ship within 2 weeks. The order did not arrive until 04/01 when the order was placed on 02/22. Then on arrival, the PC would not turn on. After speaking with customer support for nearly 2 hours reseating everything possible, I had to ship it back. They did work on it immediately and fixed the issue fortunately. I got a notice that a label was created for shipping then there was no progress for almost a week. I called and it turned out they boxed it and printed a label….but never shipped it back to me. I’m not sure how long it would have sat there had I not called. Overall, it was not a great experience and for paying that large of an amount of money I feel like it was definitely not the service that should be expected. Most likely, will not be doing business here again.
Stephanie W.
I love my new PC. It is fast and quiet and meets my needs. My only complaint is the amount of time it took to build and ship. 3 months seems like a long time to wait for a simple build.
John M.
This computer isn’t what I was expecting. I doubt it will perform as advertised. It also took longer than quoted to be built / shipped. Only after I called / emailed was the process started. I have done nothing but upgrade this computer since startup. I am confident I over paid for this computer. Had I done more research and read reviews I wouldn’t have purchased.
Joshua V.
My Apex experience so far has been hit and miss. The purchase, build experience was nice. The 1on1 call made you feel like you were getting a hand built system. Upon receiving the pc the box was a little beat up but the pc its self looked to be in perfect condition.
Out of the box it worked great, ran everything I wanted it to and more.
But exactly 1 month after receiving my pc it developed a power issue.
I emailed apex about it 1 month and 1 day after delivery. After about a week of back and forth email I called the help line. I should have done that first as I was able to get the pc ready for RMA shipping that day. I was on the hook for shipping but oh well it is under warranty. We are now coming up on 2 weeks with apex having my pc back for RMA work and the communication has been subpar. I get more automated leave a survey emails than updates on the 3700$ pc I purchased.
The first email I got after returning the pc for RMA was they had it powered on. I called and was informed my pc was not even on the test bench yet. I am now sitting here hoping I will get a email update today 4/25/24 or something.
I want nothing more than to be able to update this review in a month or so with better news.
At the moment I feel duped.
Specs were
I7 13700kf
Zotac 4070
32 gig 6400 mhz ram
2 x 1 tb nvme drive
MSI z790 carbon WiFi
1000 watt platinum silver stone
And a 240mm apex AIO
Zachary R.
Runs great!! Has been able to handle everything I've thrown at it!
ivan v.
Took a while to receive it
Noah H.
Love the pc. Already got my friends to buy pcs through APEX! Planning on buying my wife’s pc through APEX as well.
Cornelia L.
I gave only four stars because I still wait for a part (front glass panel) that brock during shipping. It is not an important part und does not influence the working of the computer. I hope that the part arrives soon. Otherwise, my grandson, is very pleased and loves the computer.
I have to give 5 stars to customer service; they were very easy to talk too, professional, and overt right away to send a new part. I just still wait for it. It might be stuck within the shipping process.
Nathan D.
Runs at a very solid fps in every game I've tried it in. Works great with high graphic settings. Starts up pretty quickly. Not noisy at all. Can handle a decent amount of tabs being open while gaming if you need them. Overall I am very happy with it!
Andrew G.
It’s really good. All my games run super well with high frames and good graphics. The only real problem I had was the time it took to get to me. Besides that it is amazing!
Michael A.
I was beyond underwhelmed with the committment to delivery from this company. I ordered a 48 hour turn around that took over SIX weeks to complete. I called in and complained numerous times and even scheduled a call back with the head of customer service and he never called. They did bump up the specs in my computer but honestly I'm not sure I received the extras. Very disappointed in the service. The computer seems fine but I would recommend ordering elsewhere if you want prompt service.
Reginald E.
This pc is a monster, like others, my pc took longer than expected but I was to blame as much as the company with me constantly adding and upgrading components. The delays on the companies part resulted in compensation that added overall to the experience. My only critique is that communication could better as it pertains to component supplies and the overall production process but I can honestly say I’m astonished by this pc and the fact that it was safely transported across the country. Thanks Apex Gaming PC this is what I wanted and more.
Paul C.
I am very happy with this computer. Build quality is good very tidy. Customer service is very good always keep you advised of the process.
However I am experiencing some issues machine wont restart I can shutdown and bootup but not restart. Also some other quirky things going on. On some research I find that maybe the culprit is Asus Armoury Crate. It seems to have a history of screwing up systems. The machine was fine when I first received it so I don't believe its anything you did.
I am telling you this as maybe you might want to consider not putting this on your machines.
Darius G.
What can I say, this is a wonderful PC!
Darius G.
Well, after 3 months with my PC, I'm even more in love with it. It's doing well and handles some of the most strenuous gaming and sessions with ease.
I've been very happy with it and I'm glad Apex Gaming PCs built such an amazing PC.
Isaac B.
My audio is constantly stops working so I have to restart my pc every time it does. Besides that everything else is good
David T.
I love the pc but the reason for the 4 star is because the process took much much longer than expected
James I.
Long wait time. No issues so far.
Matthew M.
I placed my order around Thanksgiving, so I ordered this at a very tough time of the year. It only took a couple months and was a couple weeks past the 4-6 week window. Admittedly, I got VERY impatient and I wasn't easy about it. Well, here's all I can say:
This PC was well worth the wait. I have something that is extremely high quality, very aesthetically pleasing in addition to just a clean layout overall. The performance is RIDICULOUS. This thing is hitting benchmarks I never even knew were possible. It was quite pricey, but again, well worth the expense. I have a better experience overall, not just with gaming, but with any and all activities requiring a PC. This system is capable of pretty much anything you throw at it, including the processing of medical images.
All in all, if you order a machine from these guys, you MIGHT get a little ticked by the lead time and WIP...but take it from me, you'll be glad you waited. I would totally order another machine form Apex.
Darius G.
After sitting with my new Apex Extreme Gaming PC for a little more than a week in March 2023, I must say that I'm very happy with my overall purchase and experience. That's where I'll start for now:
The Good:
- Customer Service was responsive and willing to make changes and corrections on the fly.
- Customer Service never got testy on the phone or through email when it came down to some of the more nit-picky things that I had.
- Customer Service fielded everything I threw at them (and it was a lot). They even went above and beyond to help me understand certain aspects or changes and allowed me time to weigh the options provided.
- A well placed box, within a box with the required foam for the internals was safe and secure during shipping
- The system boots as intended each and every time with around 26 seconds from off to login screen.
- The case, it's almost all glass. If there is plastic, and I'm missing it (outside of buttons) then I can't tell. For 66 lbs of PC it definitely feels durable compared to some competitor machines out there.
- Customer Service, upon my request, provided photos of the system ahead of it's delivery allowing me to see them building and working on it. This was something I requested after a few extra outside changes that honestly, didn't have to be honored at the time but they did.
- Components are properly installed and placed.
- With 10 fans and the AIO Cooler, it definitely runs cooler than my previous PC by a mile.
From the good, we do get the needs improvement. These things are purely for the sake of the consumer and of course, should be taken with a grain of salt as no one experience is the same across any singular person. The buying experience is pretty simple but that can also lead to some small pitfalls. I did have to go through Customer Service in email and on the phone to handle most of the issues that did crop up. These are documented as follows.
When purchasing the Apex Xtreme PC, it was listed as an Intel i7-12600KF. This is the first issue that I noticed and had to have addressed. The Intel i7-12600KF does not exist, it’s sibling, the i5-12600KF does exist and it was placed on my order as such despite the PC and website at the time of my order showing that it should come with the i7-12700KF. This change was made immediately when notice and brought to the Apex Customer Service staff.
The Apex Xtreme was also listed as a DDR5 PC but the motherboard was a DDR4 variant by default, this is an issue that I raised as there should be a clear and defined upgrade path to DDR5 if the customer is expecting to get that. Which, when you place the order it does not offer that unless you pay for the upgrade fee to DDR5 RAM and a DDR5 Motherboard. That’s flat out wrong in my eyes. Once this was raised to Customer Service, an amenable solution was reached. Although, I’m grateful for it, I feel as though this should be made clearer from the beginning for their highest end Custom PC.
Reaching a solid agreement on the Motherboard and RAM as they’re married together shouldn’t incur a price change for essentially a lateral move. Again, this is my own feeling on the matter.
The Bad:
Although I have praised Customer Support, I must also chide them right here. When my PC and a few subsequent changes were made in good faith the PC would be built a week sooner, I was left with a little bit of disappointment when a Motherboard change resulted in my PC being delayed on build. This was due to an issue within procurement. I chide Customer Support because there was no notice or notification that the PC was being delayed over a part. That was frustrating to overcome. For so much transparency at the start through a few earlier issues, to having things go silent suddenly left me in a pretty meh state for the PC’s arrival.
Hence when I got on the phone and voiced my concerns, the Customer Support staff took time to listen and actually make change. Which is why the Customer Support staff is praised.
Conclusion:
The PC is amazing, runs as I had hoped and I fully support Apex Gaming PCs through their infancy phase. They’re definitely young but with a lot of solid supporters at the grass roots level and within their shop that want them to succeed. Build quality is huge for this small company and they made sure to get it right the first time without fuss or complaint.
Customer Service will listen to you if you voice proper complaints and issues in a timely manner without chiding them. They listen if you keep things professional and work with them. They’re people too on the other side of the phone.
Website navigation needs a bit more work when selecting options for a Custom PC. It does feel like you’re pulling teeth if you’re advertised one thing but receive another.
In the end though, I wouldn’t trade my experience for the world. The Apex Gaming PC staff is honest, professional and determined to get their PCs out of the shop and into a consumers hands. I’m with them for life, so long as they never change how they operate.
But please fix the website. I’m begging you. (And fix this PCs specs, it should still be an i7-12700KF, not an i5-12600.)
For the record, my PC received a few extra changes that may not be listed:
i7-12700KF
Apex 240MM AIO Liquid Cooler
Asus Z690 TUF Motherboard
DDR5-32GB 5200MHZ RAM (Non-RGB)
10RGB Fans
Gigabyte RTX 3070 Graphics Card
Windows 11
Ahnykha B.
Great customer service and though it took a bit to get here (likely because COVID and shortages) it arrived pristine and was easy to hook up. It runs like a dream and I never thought I'd have such an amazing computer
Matthew H.
This is a beautiful PC and it’s performing really well in everything I play!
byron evans
Fantastic for DCS - great graphics and speed. Only issue is it sometimes locks up/freezes on the home screen and I think its an issue with Win11 being unstable. Has be hard booted.
Great product - great cruncher!
Tristin S.
I like it and it works great
Jared L.
Overall fantastic however the issue is the EVGA app won’t work so I can’t change the RGB and the things I tried to make it work don’t so it sucks i am losing out in functionality I paid extra for
Rayce S.
The PC worked - eventually. After an initial wait months longer than expected (the cooling system wasn't available for a while, and I chose to wait rather than the other options offered: downgrade for free or get up charges for a comparable product.)
The monitor was shipped without half of its stand. And then after a week of use, the power cord provided for the PC melted and started a fire next to my feet. Fortunately, after spending another $50 for a better made cord and a new monitor stand, I can finally enjoy the PC I ordered nearly a year ago and overpaid for.
2/5, impressive resistance to heat.
Paul H.
This is my son's computer and he loves it.
jason g.
when i bought it, its was going good, but something happened. but it was a quick fix. this beast is insane.
Jae B.
The computer may have taken it's time getting here but it truly is an absolute powerhouse. It's running games smoothly to such a degree i thought wouldn't even by possible for such games. Truly is worth the price if you want to have a computer capable of running nearly anything.
Ky H.
It works well great frame rates
Colin B.
I love my APEX Gaming PC!
From ordering, build, customer service, shipping and unboxing this PC is outstanding.
I would recommend buying an APEX PC.
Justin L.
Excellent Product. Suspect communication and did not receive my mouse with my order. Love the PC and am enjoying the experience, would like to see improvement in the area of Customer Service specifically with communication. 9/10 for me.
Craig H.
Great system worked smoothly out of the box, the only issue was that it did take 5 months to receive. Otherwise, I love it, blazing fast, plays all my games smoothly and my Occulus Rift for the first time performs as designed (it struggled on my previous system which met all the required specs and them some).
Kyle S.
The most powerful PC I've ever owned so far.
Jon L.
Shipping took longer than expected. But thats my only gripe considering it was during a global pandemic. I enjoyed the customer service and how quick they where to respond to my issues and my constant emails. Very professional, very polite, just order sooner than you wanted and it should be in on time.
sevino s.
my very first pc yea it took almost 6 months of waiting but its worth the wait thx apex for everything well made pc :) its a beautiful computer
Neal
This is a BEAST! I had to wait months but TOTALLY TOTALLY worth all the wait. You will be extremely impressed. Runs smoothly, extremely quiet and fabulous craftsmanship! Nick is the nicest, wisest in the business! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and has top notch interpersonal skills. He eases all your concerns and that is probably why sometimes you are on hold because he gives such care and time to each customer! Thank you Nick and all the guys who built this amazing machine! Nick goes above and beyond! Will definitely be back when my brother needs a beast! You’ll love it!
Leticia L.
I took some time to arrive but it was worth it!

Ordered the PC in May, was told it would be shipped to my house for October 12th, it's almost November 12th now, still, no PC if it ever arrives maybe I can try it out, who knows?

Turn it on and it make rattling or buzzing noises, non stop.

This thing is awesome, love it

With the influx of people buying computers the wait is going to be long no getting around it but the product you get is A1 worth the wait and I recommend if you dont need a PC urgently
james s.
i order mine back before the shortage on gpu s was told it was gonna be 4 weeks the auto up dates from them as to the progress of the pc was false. Then they sent me an e-mail asking me to pay an extra 480 dollars on a pny GPU, i got the water cooled everything and so paying for something ie the pny cooler fans made no sense to me. they insisted on me paying and when i refused suddenly it was gonna be another 4wks. then asked me to pay for a second computer i bought which got the super 1600 and that also required an up sale which i paid cause i was upgrading from one part to another. The water cooled unit was shipped filled with water which came undo during shipping. Lucky for APEX the system recived no damage. But since then i found a number of screws on the mother board loose and had to take the whole pc apart and put it back together and when i hear wire management i think cut to length. Not a rat nest balled up and stuffed into the bottom of the case. also it has had a cooling problem, i found the water cooling system disabled in the bios, along with a pile of much needed drivers not install or even found sound drivers to display drivers and much much more. Now i can understand rushes and keeping up with customers and i even understand shortages. What i can't understand is piss poor work. all the up selling and delays would have been easier to ignore had the pc came set up correctly and working . Not one disappointment after another, No offer of a refund or anything just shitty in store credit that am never going to use ever and by the time i would even think of needing too it all the money discounts and cash credit would be null and void according to their own sales rep. So i say this much dont take on orders once you over shoot your stock. Dont up sell when you have no product to upsale too and or the wrong product Pny PFT. The customer serivce gets 5 stars polite even when i wasnt and very quick to "Jump" thru hoops i say "jump" cause their sales persons and cant be held to the word they give when the company can easily and did say thats was a mistake. So my advice Buy the parts yourself and build it yourself. None of this very hard to do.
Timothy H.
A little new to this kind of product, and shopping experience.
Early on, my questions regarding how the product would function and what each part did were answered with satisfaction.
When the delay in shipping occurred, your team appropriately notified your consumers.
The only issue in this regard, that I recall, was a question of mine that went unanswered.
When the product came, I saw some hardware and cords that I could not identify, with insufficient instructions on what they were for, or could be for. People experienced in the field may be able to, but a more casual consumer like myself can not.
As far as the actual product performance goes; it operates phenomenally compared to previous PCs I've had. It has been perhaps 2 or 3 weeks since I first powered it on and there are no issues so far.
The only thing I miss was the setup traditionally offered by a Windows OS. But I understand that you had to bypass for product and QC purposes.
Matt D.
It was good Nothing to complain about
William S.
Let's be honest, I ordered the 3090... So I already knew I was in for a good amount of waiting. Totally worth it. As someone who'd normally build my own, I found that the build quality of the PC itself far exceeded my expectations. These guys did a great job putting it together. Only negative was windows did not have the update needed to connect via ethernet, however once I realized the problem... It was a very easy fix. I've not struggled with playing any demanding game titles. I do regret not getting more SSD memory, definitely invest in more than 1TB on your SSD, you'll thank me later.
Clint W.
PC is good it meets expectations. Everything works. I especially liked how easy it was to set up. Literally plug it in and start playing. Our other gaming pc’s have all struggled with over heating this one does not. I highly recommend the Apex Extreme with the the top options. Definitely expensive but worth it.
Brianna B.
It took a while for it to get here because of covid but oh it was so worth it. Absolutely love my pc!
john m.
I appreciate the hard work and dedicated you guys put into my product absolutely outstanding work
janice b.
Awesome! highly recommend apex gaming for your next build!!
Peter H.
Performance is good. Order took a while though!
Very pleased with it overall.
Also apex Support have been super responsive.
Tristen B.
I ordered mine on the 2nd or 3rd of December and I’m hella hyped I can’t wait til it comes in but I hope it could come in sooner tho I really don’t wanna wait til the end of the month lol!
Aloys J.
I bought a customised one. No regrets
Connor P.
Absolutely insane. My son has an Apex Carbon and while that PC is great, the Xtreme is just so much more extreme. Windows 10 Pro loads in 2.3 seconds. I load PUBG in 1.8 seconds.
Not to mention that I get 431 FPS in Fortnite, 294 in PUBG, and over 500 FPS in Dota 2.
Make the investment, you won't need a new computer for 20 years!
