This is over all an awesome PC, I have only had an audio issue, Secure Boot issue and some Wifi issues but either than that it has lived up to and surpassed my expectations!

I love the pc so far my only regret is not upgrading to a 3090.

it took a long time to get but everything works and it was packaged really well and everything worked fine

The PC itself is absolutely fantastic, the timetable on receiving the items were not accurate or kept up to date. But other than that they are solid machines and worth the time.

since windows 311 I have always had a custom pc. This one is the best ever. Keep up the good work. I will look you up for my future purchases

Took over five months, at price paid, should have been built and at the door in less than a month. Logistics issues were used as an excuse over and over, and to boot, no backup disc or usb sent with computer. Won’t order from your company again.

Decent PC, but for 3000$ there’s a few issues.
1. My BiOs is completely inaccessible and my computer soft locks when I try to get into it on startup.
2. Secure boot isn’t defaulted on so I can’t play certain games without going into my bios (see 1).
3. The PC intermittently crashes and stops working for unknown reasons.
4. It took half a year to get here… but that’s nobody’s fault.
5. Though I paid 30$ extra (I think)for built in bluetooth, I was instead sent a CD with Bluetooth drivers on it… for a pc with no disc drive…. A waste of money.
The PC is definitely a huge upgrade, but for over three thousand dollars I’d expect to be able to at least get into my Bios.

The company was absolutely incredible. Anytime I requested an update they let me know what was going on and gave me a very accurate estimate for when my pc would come in. Everything runs smoothly and I really enjoy playing games with my friends now.

It took a while but it works

My order took awhile to get to me, but I've been loving it ever since. Only thing I've had to do to it so far is reset my fan speeds to work better with overclocking
AMALIA H.
The computer does not have built-in wifi, I'm buy a separate USB.

came with a fan busted off still works but doesn’t seem worth what i paid

TL;DR:
DO NOT BUY A PC FROM APEX. DON'T TRUST THEIR SITE OR GOOGLE REVIEWS. THEY DON'T REFLECT CURRENT INTERACTIONS WITH THIS COMPANY.
It took 6 months for them to send my PC. I knew about the shortage. I had to call to figure out what the hold up was. Turns out, 5 and half months in, they still hadn't even built it. It was just collecting dust in a box. I had to threaten a chargeback before they would do anything. Also, there is an error on their website that is still there. The Apex Platinum comes with a MetallicGear Neo Air White case, not whatever the hell they have listed there. Which apparently was part of the reason mine was held up for so long.
--------------------
Apex is probably the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I purchased my PC in mid April, fully aware of the GPU shortage and fully aware I was purchased a more sought after GPU (RTX 3070). Apex said this could add 10-12 weeks to delivery time. I figured this into my calculations and went ahead with the purchase anyways. First few weeks were great. I got the build process emails including the order review email saying everything I chose looked good and they were on their way to building the PC. After about 6 weeks, I got an email saying it was delayed, which I expected.
I emailed support in mid June to ask what the delay was and got a response back from Nicholas that it was the GPU holding it up and that my PC should ship in early July. July came and went and nothing happened. I received vague emails about their supply of GPUs being low and that they would ship in the order they had received when they came in.
In August, I emailed again and Nicholas told me to expect "several more weeks" before my PC would ship. I tried to be patient but soon after I began receiving their emails that they had a "fluid supply of GPUs" and were shipping in the order they received them. Since it had been then, 4 months since I'd ordered, I was getting frustrated.
I called and got Nick on the phone in the end of August to ask what was going on with my PC and he told me: my PC was NOT built, it was sitting in a box, just parts, with no case and now power cable (and obviously, no GPU). I asked what the heck was going on and he told me the inventory dept didn't know what case to put around it because of a fault with their website which is still as of 9/25 on the page for the Platinum, that doesn't show the right case. So, they didn't know what to do? And then the power cable I chose wasn't powerful enough for the GPU I chose.
Now, if they had told me this in APRIL when I ordered the damn thing and they did the order review that's part of their process, I would have been happy and willing to pay for the upgraded part. But now, 5 MONTHS LATER, the bloke tries to make me upgrade it at a 15% discount, and then a 50% discount. At this point, adjust it off! You deal with multi-thousand dollar PCs on a daily basis $40 f*cking bucks isn't going to affect you! (he did later refund me the money I paid but the principle of it!)
He told me my PC would ship in a week and he would make a note in my account to let me know if there were any hiccups. A week comes and goes and I don't get a shipping email. Now, I'm furious. I threaten a chargeback if I don't receive a shipping email within the next day and then it comes. I requested to talk to a supervisor three weeks ago. Still haven't heard anything.
The PC arrived. No manuals. Had to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to get into the case. Thank god it works because these lazy a**holes don't want to listen to another phone call from me. Nick, I hope they pay you well because you don't deserve the bulls*it you go through.

PC runs real smooth. Amazing frame rates. Though the process for the build took longer than anticipated well worth it in the end.

It’s a really nice computer, really great customer service and haven’t had any issues

Very helpful team, I'm new to computers and they help explain what would work best for the type of use I was expecting to get out of it. And of course it looks super awesome.

Runs fantastic, setup was a breeze. Would definitely buy again!

Everything about this PC surpassed my expectations by far. Not only is the performance great, but the wire management is perfect and everything is set up beautifully. Overall an amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone.

I have 25 years’ experience with building workstations and gaming PCs for professional and personal use. I also have 15 years as a professional MS Windows Server and Windows OS LAN Admin. Given my experience, I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the computer I purchased from Apex. When I received the computer, the first thing I noticed was that the factory Intel CPU cooler was not fully locked in to the motherboard and was loose, causing it not to be seated properly on the CPU. I did replace CPU cooler with my own water cooled cooler so, thankfully I caught the issue before it damaged the CPU. The second issue I noticed was that the Windows Store was getting the "Something happened on our end. Try again later." error message whenever I tried to download my games to the computer. This being a new machine with a brand-new Windows 10 install, this error should have never been allowed out of the Apex QA facility with this issue. Thankfully, due to my Windows OS experience, I was able to get past it. The next issue I noticed is that there was no Windows 10 license key sent with the new computer. In my years of buying computers with Windows preinstalled, I've never received a computer that doesn't have a unique OEM license sent with the computer. I'm not sure if how this computer was shipped without a unique OEM Windows license is a violation of Microsoft's Windows distribution policy. This also introduces a problem if I need to reinstall the OS for any number of Windows OS issues, that could arise that requires it, as I don’t have a windows key to use for the reinstall. Lastly, as part of my build, I chose an RTX 3080. The computer shipped with a Zotac Gaming RTX 3080. I went to Zotac's site to register the card and one of the requirements is that you need proof of purchase in order to register the card. Since I received no receipt of my purchase with the computer, I had nothing to register my card with on Zotac’s site. In an attempt to remedy this, I sent two emails (on 11/11 and 11/12) to the Apex support team, requesting a receipt with the Zotac Gaming card, that I purchased for the computer build listed as a purchase item. As of the time of this review, I have not received one reply to either request. Given all of this, I'm not happy with this build and I’m not happy with the support from Apex. I hope the Apex team can learn from these issues and correct them, which will cause them to better serve and satisfy their customers.

My bad for not being able to provide a picture of my pc (it's beautiful though. I just can't get a picture of it as of writing my review lol) but it's perfect and as expected.
In my opinion if you don't mind spending a bit of extra money, the Apex Platinum might be a good choice compared to the other systems. You get most of the customisations you can get with the higher-end builds compared to the lower-end builds but at the same time you probably won't break the bank with it. But you do you, choose whichever you'd like, if the PC I got is great, I'm sure all the other ones are great as well.
Ngl at first I was a little skeptical about buying a pre-built from these guys as they weren't as well known as other places but I'm glad I did. The PC can be used straight after you unbox it and plug everything in (don't forget to take out the packing foam inside the computer :p) and it works as it should. Downloaded Apex Legends and Tarkov and they ran buttery smooth.
If you're worried about how Apex uses UPS to deliver your computer to you, from my experience, you shouldn't need to worry about it. From what I saw Apex puts the computer in its already nice box inside of another larger box with these weird packing peanuts or whatever. So if someone from UPS ever decides to do their own thing like throwing your computer around it hopefully won't come to you all busted up because of all the measures they've taken.
Customer service? Excellent. They seemed to reply as soon as they possibly can, they're really friendly, even to me because I think I was being a bit of an annoyance at times with my constant paranoia. If I had to rate their customer service I would have to go with 8.5-9/10. Great people to be honest, even if I don't know them on a personal level lmao.
In the future, as long as I don't feel like building my own computer, I'll definitely purchase another computer from here. Will even recommend this place to my friends if they ever want a new computer.
Anyways cheers, everyone from the Apex team. Stay safe and have a good time!

Found this on a google add and the price is not great. $1400 for a pc with a 1660 is overpriced

I would love to have one but they are too much money

This PC has been excellent for all my needs! First this is my whole set up that I went with and purchased this back in August/September and have been waiting a few months before doing a review.
PC: Apex Platinum - i5-9600K / GTX 1660 Ti / 32 GB DDR4-3200MHZ
Monitor: ASUS - 24" LED FHD VG248QE
Keyboard: Razer Huntsman Elite
I use my PC both for work and gaming online, particularly it has been World of Warships so far and would consider myself a beginner PC gamer. However, I did not want to settle for less and elected to go with the Platinum when they were having a really good sale on it. When looking at the different CPU options offered with this PC (or you can call and customize for a non-listed option) I went with the i5-9600K versus the i7-8700 because it has a slightly faster single, dual, and quad core speed as well as better overclocking single, dual, and quad core speed. It has a better value, more popular, and also more recent by almost a year in comparison to the i7-8700, so the i5-9600K is definitely the better option so save yourself $200 dollars. The PC is very responsive! When I turn it on, it takes less than 10 seconds for me to get to home screen and launch into whatever I want to do. (Do yourself and order the Razer Huntsman Elite as you won't be disappointed).
I can also tell I have not pushed this PC to its limits yet as I wanted the extra power and processing speed if I choose to do another game in the future that is a bit more intense. It is very functional and quite pleased with the PC thus far and customer support has been great for all the questions I have had!
Shipping took longer than expected by just over a month for a few reasons. First, they had a large amount of orders and naturally were busy. Second, is that a part on my PC failed the stress test and so they had to order a new part. Third, that part was delayed because it came from Florida right when hurricane Dorian came in and almost made landfall, haha. So it was forces outside their control and totally respect that
My only disappointment which is really small and is my fault, is the lighting set up. I had expected it to look similar to the pictures with the multi-color fans that illuminate the inside of the PC (or RGP lights that are optional) and that is not the case. It is some sort of custom set up or light option that you would have to talk with the techs. So if your wanting something unique I would advise looking more into the "Build Your Apex Platinum" option that is now there and talking with a tech online to get what you want. Now my PC does come with the 3 front intake fans and they are single colored and you can change the color options and pulsing options so there is that.
Overall an excellent PC and definitely worth the money! Just do your research on what type of PC set up you want first before you order as I did this for a few weeks and talking with customer service will help assist you in that.
Best Regards,
Derrick Shipley
